The Hoot Owl (2022) tells the story of a group of friends struggling to survive as they disturb the deranged inhabitants of an allegedly abandoned property deep in the forests of East Texas. In their desperate quest for survival, they must navigate through the twisted minds of these disturbed individuals, who will stop at nothing to protect their territory. As the friends fight for their lives, they are forced to confront their own fears and inner demons, realizing that the true horror lies not only in the darkness of the forest, but also within themselves. Will they be able to escape the clutches of the deranged and make it out alive, or will they become just another haunting tale of the Hoot Owl?
