Lời Thề Với Chúa, A Pledge To God (2018)

A Pledge to God, also known as Lời Thề Với Chúa in Vietnamese, started airing on November 24th and is expected to make a special impact in December. Currently being broadcasted on MBC during prime time, the show faces tough competition from other popular projects in the Korean market. There will be a fierce battle at the end of 2018 as networks start releasing their highly anticipated dramas, and it remains to be seen which network's "baby" will leave the strongest impression.

Directed by the promising young director Yoon Jae Moon, A Pledge to God falls under the genre of psychological romance. Although he hasn't had any outstanding projects yet, Yoon Jae Moon is highly regarded. The drama also boasts a talented cast, including Oh Yoon Ah, Han Chae Young, and Bae Soo Bi, who are relatively well-regarded.

The story revolves around the journey to save the only son of the couple Seo Ji Young and Kim Jae Wook. Ji Young's family of three originally had a happy life, but tragedy strikes when their son is diagnosed with a serious illness, making everything more difficult. Despite being busy with work, Ji Young still manages to spend a lot of time with her son. Jae Wook, the heir to a prestigious architectural company, is also not willing to sacrifice everything to save their son, regardless of moral principles.
