Chiếc Ghế Màu Xanh, Green Chair (2005)

Kim Mun-hee, a divorced woman, refuses to live a life without love. Despite the legal restrictions, she falls in love with Hyun, a high school senior. However, their love is forbidden, and Mun-hee is arrested and sentenced to 100 hours of community service for "enticing" an underage boy.

After serving her sentence, Mun-hee faces new pressures. She is met with judgmental and harsh looks from everyone, especially the media. But all her fears disappear when she reunites with Hyun. They rent a room in a hotel and spend several days together, fulfilling their longing after a long time apart. However, once their physical desires are satisfied, Mun-hee begins to doubt the future of their relationship. She decides to stay at her close friend Jin's house for a while.

But it's not long before Hyun reaches adulthood. He refuses to break up with the woman he loves. In fact, he even moves into Jin's house to be close to Mun-hee every day.

Green Chair is a delicate story about a love that society does not accept. It is gentle, humorous, yet profound. The film successfully portrays the coming of age of a young man and the uneasiness of a woman facing the judgment of society.
